Geheime Nachrichten von dem Kriege in Ungarn in denen Feldzügen 1737, 1738 und 1739
On the 13th of August this general [Schmettau] reported that he had not received the slightest news from Colonel Lentulus, so that he did not know whether he could march in his direction from Pristina. At the same time he wrote that the acquisition of the monastery in Novipazar would be very important, but the acquisition of Pristina would be even more important because it would allow the enemy to break away from Bosnia; this would require five to six twelve-pounders and three thousand infantry. Field Marshal Khevenhüller reported from his camp near Bregova that he would call the commander in Vidin. A letter came from Colonel Lentulus asking for ammunition, medicine and doctors.
