1792, Ambassador of Ragusa

Facsimile of the page of the book where Prishtina is briefly described in 1797 in Italian.

Giornale del viaggio a Constantinopoli fatto dagli Ambasciatori della Republica di Ragusa alla sublime Porta l' Anno 1792

Dated 18 [May]. Walking for a long time along this plain, we crossed the river Lab, or Lau, and saw on the left, about three miles off, a church where Millose Kobilich is said to have been buried, and a little further on we also saw the tomb of Amurath the Second . Finally, after climbing and descending several hills, of the same size, from the top of the last hill we discovered a beautiful view of the city of Pristina at the foot of the hill, where we settled after walking for four hours.
