A report that Maliq Pashë Gjinolli and other pashas are attacking Gjakova, which is administered by Mahmud Pasha Bushatlli

To His Highness, the Merciful, the Powerful, the Wealthy, My Sultan

This time, I have received a letter from Mahmud Pasha of Shkodra, via the state official Hasan Efendi, as well as another letter from the Silahdar, stating that Tahir Pasha of Prizren, Abdurrahman Pasha of Peja, and Maliq Pasha of Prishtina are currently attacking and violating the towns of Gjakova and Altunili. I have sent them a note of advice and reprimand. Although they present themselves as having complied with the request to cease their attacks, it is evident that they have not taken our advice seriously. As a result of Mahmud Pasha of Shkodra's hostility towards the pashas of the Kosovo region, it seems that Mahmud Pasha has decided to attack them from Shkodra and has sought the approval of the Sultan for this action. According to a letter from the Vali of Rumelia regarding these developments, the conflict between Mahmud Pasha and the aforementioned pashas is considered unsuitable even for the Ottoman state itself. Therefore, it is requested that an imperial decree (ferman) be issued for advising and reprimanding Mahmud Pasha. Simultaneously, the Vali of Rumelia will also write a letter for the purpose of advice. (17.07.1795)
